From April 22 to 25, 2024, the "Low-Carbon Construction" workshop was held in Taiwan Tech, attracting around 140 participants from Taiwan, New Southbound countries, and other nations. The opening ceremony was hosted by President Jia-Yush Yen of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) and Dr. YI-Kuen Liu, Chief Secretary of the Resource Circulation Administration (RECA), with Prof. IDAA Warmadewanthi, Deputy Director of TI-STIC, also 11 Indonesian academia and government representatives in attendance. Keynote speakers included Prof. Liang-Jenq Leu, President of the Taiwan Construction Research Institute (TCRI), De. Milton King, President of Yatung Ready Mixed Concrete Corp., and several experts from industry, government, and academia.
On April 23 and 24, our center were arranged field trip to the Goldsun Group at Bali Taipei Port and the RUENTEX Yangmei concrete precast factory in Taoyuan. This visit provided additional insights into the production processes and application technologies of low-carbon building materials.

The workshop concluded successfully on the 25th, with our Director Vice President JC Liu hosting the closing ceremony and presenting certificates of appreciation to the Indonesian representatives in recognition of their contributions. This event has invigorated the partnership between Taiwan and Indonesia, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
